WHAT IS CROSSFIT?
CrossFit is the principal strength and conditioning program for many police academies and tactical operations teams, military special operations units, champion martial artists, and hundreds of other elite and professional athletes worldwide.
Our program delivers a fitness that is, by design, broad, general, and inclusive. Our specialty is not specializing. Combat, survival, many sports, and life reward this kind of fitness and, on average, punish the specialist.
The needs of Olympic athletes and our grandparents differ by degree not kind. Our soldiers, skiers, mountain bike riders and housewives have found their best fitness from the same regimen.
What is CrossFit at CrossFit Hippo?
It’s a safe place to grow as an individual both physically and mentally. We encourage our members to reach outside of their comfort zone and push their limits at their own pace. CrossFit Hippo is the most family oriented, encouraging and supportive CrossFit box in the West Houston and Katy area.
Your experience here will be like no other. Our staff will guide you through our On-Ramp program to ensure you start with the foundation of quality movement and supervision. Our expert staff will help you with your nutrition questions as well as provide you with the all too important accountability necessary for success.
