Template Option #1 Meal Plan Option

Overview

This option of the challenge will include 3 meals and 1-2 snacks per day planned out for you, including a grocery list weekly of everything you need to make it through the week with healthy meals. Males, Females, and Couples are welcome and encouraged to participate – you can even include you kids in on the challenge. This challenge will start a process of introducing quality foods in appropriate portions that will help improve body composition, aesthetics, and eventually performance. This challenge option is for those new to improving nutrition and need guidance on what types of food to purchase, and how much to eat.  The challenge will start January 8th and run until March 28th.  Starting and ending with a body composition weigh in.

How it works

Step by step each week:

  1. You will be enrolled in a Private Facebook Group.
  2. Each week you will receive a grocery list to help gather all items needed. One for females and one for males.
  3. Each week you will get 3 meals & 1-2 snacks DAILY written out with appropriate portions.
  4. You cook the meals and enjoy!

Hippo Nutrition Challenge 2018

Template Option #2 Macro Option

Overview

This is a basic nutrition challenge aimed at improving both the quality and quantity of your nutrition after the holiday season. It will cover a 3 month span starting Monday January 8th. Each month there will be a new nutrition focus. The challenge is designed to start Week 1 with improving the quality of foods you are eating. Weeks 2-4 will focus on taking those quality foods and creating a personalized quantity plan for each individual, and we will customize further as we dive into the challenge. You will choose your own foods for this challenge, but you will need to record all intake using the Fat Secret application/website.   The challenge will start January 8th and run until March 28th.  Starting and ending with a body composition weigh in.

How it works

Each week you will get:

  • List of Quality foods – proteins, carbohydrates, & fats
  • Individual Macrospersonalized pro/carb/fat numbers
    • Personalized weekly/monthly breakdown ranges
  • Personal review of specific daily nutrition for 2 days each week
    • You will have the opportunity to pick which days are reviewed
  • Minimum 3 meal prepping/recipes every week
