I’m 27 yrs old. Moved to Houston about a year ago from PR for work. I used to play sports. I love my dog and all other dogs.

I had an “insta-food-blog” about clean eating during college in 2015. Got up to 100 followers… so famous

  1. WHAT MADE YOU START CROSSFIT?

I wanted to be more active and have something to do after work in a new town. Had no plans of squatting 200#

  1. WHAT DO YOU ENJOY MOST ABOUT CROSSFIT? 

That moment when you finally feel comfortable doing something you never thought you’ll be doing. A lift, a handstand, box jumps, double unders..stuff like that.

  1. WHAT IS YOUR PROUDEST CROSSFIT MOMENT?

200# back squat PR –  + 45# from last

  1. WHAT IS YOUR FAVORITE MOVEMENT/LIFT? LEAST FAVORITE?

Favorite – Power Cleans

Least – Snatch, but will practice until love finds a way

  1. WHAT ARE YOUR CROSSFIT GOALS? HOW CLOSE ARE YOU TO REACHING THEM?

Double unders –  I did six once so kind of close.

Pull ups – very far away from getting them but one day!!!

Ring muscle ups – if I ever do one I’ll get a hippo tattoo

  1. WHAT IMPACT HAS CROSSFIT HIPPO HAD ON YOUR LIFE IN AND OUT OF THE GYM?

CrossFit Hippo definitely made me a healthier person. Now I eat better and feel better. It also impacted my social life,  friends are tired of getting videos of me doing lifts.

  1. WHAT MAKES CROSSFIT DIFFERENT FROM OTHER FITNESS PROGRAMS THAT YOU’VE TRIED IN THE PAST

The competition against yourself, the community, the coaches, No big egos just support and motivation.

  1. IF YOU COULD CREATE A WOD, WHAT WOULD IT LOOK LIKE?

Squat clean ladder with double unders in between and have a time cap

  1. WHEN YOU’RE NOT AT CROSSFIT, WHAT IS YOUR FAVORITE THING TO DO?

Brunch with bottomless mimosas knowing I burned a lot of calories at the gym. #nutrition
